Today, a lot of exciting news was announced, so I will take you through it all one by one.
To start of with, Yusuke has finally been accepted as a full member! This makes the band a 5-member band again at last. This announcement came with new group photos which include Yusuke. You can see the photos below! I love the new outfits and I hope you do too!

“As of today’s opening of the 15th anniversary celebrations, I’ve joined Matenrou Opera officially, I’m the new guitarist, Yusuke.
Since I’ve started doing support since March of last year it has been a year that we went through while constantly facing the COVID pandemic, but in the background we managed to safely approach this day.
Right now I’m just feeling a deep sense of gratitude toward everyone’s warm cheers.
This year we’re presenting the band’s first full album since 3 years, and we’ve announced the long-awaited countrywide tour.
Because we’re bursting with eagerness to being able to present you our best sound, please come see the new Matenrou Opera at your nearest venue!

Another exciting announcement was made today! The band teased a while ago that they were working on a new album, and we now have the details!
Shinjitsu wo Shitteiku Monogatari (The Story of Uncovering the Truth) will be released on June 22, 2022.
The new album has a tracklist of 11 songs and both the regular edition and the limited edition will come with a second disc containing the instrumental versions of all songs.
The album will also be digitally released on iTunes and will be available on other global streaming websites as well. However please keep in mind that the instrumental versions will not be available through these services.
The limited box edition will be a fanclub limited version and it will include a big T-shirt (design not released yet), and a photobook. Those who order fast can get an additional sticker featuring the album cover as preorder extra.
In-store events are confirmed but details are still to follow
The regular edition will be sold for 4,000 yen while the fanclub version will be sold for 10,000 yen. Tax included.
The fanclub limited edition will go on preorder between May 5th 18:00, till May 9th 23:59. The box will be mailed somewhere in the middle of June.
The regular sale will start on June 13th 18:00. Mailing will start on June 19th.

And finally, the band announced that they will be going on a nationwide tour again! It has not been announced yet if it will be livestreamed as well, however the following has been announced:
The tour is titled “15th Anniversary Tour EMERALD”
Every tour location will have two concert dates. The first one, titled Tsuioku no Matenrou (Matenrou of reminiscence), will be dedicated to previously released songs, to stay in theme with it being an anniversary tour. The second day is titled like the album, and will feature songs from the new album. You can view the tour titles in the picture below.
